Can I switch my White Card
home health agency?

Yes. Your White Card belongs to you. Under the EEOICPA program, you choose your home health provider — and you may change providers at any time. The Department of Labor does not assign agencies, and no agency can hold you.

If your current agency is missing visits, rotating unfamiliar caregivers through your home, or leaving your calls unanswered, you are not obligated to stay.

How does switching work?

01

One phone call to Alara

Call (702) 814-9630. We review your current authorization and accepted conditions with you.

02

We coordinate the transfer

We work with your physician on the documentation. You do not have to confront your current agency or manage paperwork.

03

No gap in your care

Your services continue. Your authorization moves with you — it belongs to you, not to the agency.

04

Same caregivers, every visit

We schedule for continuity. The people who care for you stay the people who care for you.

What Should I Expect From a Home Health Agency?

You are entitled to expect:

If you are not receiving this, the program gives you the right to choose differently.

Visits that happen when they are scheduled

The same caregivers, consistently

A clinical team that answers the phone

Billing handled correctly, without letters or surprises

No. Your White Card, your accepted conditions, and your authorization are yours.

Changing agencies does not reduce, pause, or restart your benefits.
